Recorded on Maynard Ferguson's "New Sounds of Maynard Ferguson" album, here's a fantastic trumpet feature for a fantastic trumpet player! The band parts are not too difficult, but the alto sax necessarily doubles on flute and there is a tuba part. Two trumpet parts are included...Maynard's transcribed part and one for the rest of us. There is also solo space for tenor sax. A great ballad standard in a gorgeous setting!
