Piano Works, Vol. 1

To mark the 150th anniversary of Debussy's birth in 2012, Henle presents a tribute to his piano solo works in three volumes, available in softcover and hardcover.  All of the previously published single works by Debussy have been drawn together by Henle in these three volumes and arranged according to their date of composition.  Each of the three volumes contains true highlights for the piano.  Also included are the short and lesser-known works offering a glimpse of the modern composer, Claude Debussy, from a different angle.  Each volume contains a fascinating glossary with all of Debussy's vivid performance instructions translated into English and German.
