Porcupine

Porcupine is a dramatic rock chart that your jazz band and school community will enjoy. Trombones, trumpets and saxes all get the melody at different times. Short drum solo breaks set your drummer up for success, and for more adventuresome drummers there is an optional open solo section. Very accessible solo chords are provided for all instruments, and the brass ranges are very moderate for this difficulty level, making this chart accessible for many ensembles. The rhythm section parts are fully notated. Brass ranges: trumpet to written G5 and trombone to written G4.
