Comprising three movements O Gracious Light, Magnificat, and Nunc Dimittis Schulz-Widmar's piece, scored for SATB and organ, is a beautiful, ethereal choice for choral vespers. "O Gracious Light" begins slowly and tranquilly, with women alone, adding vocal texture and movement as it progresses. The "Magnificat" has a more stately flavor, and the "Nunc Dimittis" a solemn one. Both feature unison choirs which blossom into harmony.
