Beautiful and serene solo lines, beginning with English Horn and shared throughout the orchestra, accompanied by a pulsing bass motif that re-appears in other instruments throughout the piece. A pleasant and soothing piece to play and for the audience. Excellent for opener of a concert (5 min), or programed within. Well crafted melodic lines, as well as soothing part writing.
