Skylands Celebration

Skylands Celebration is a festive and energetic work for concert band commissioned by the Whitehouse Wind Symphony of New Jersey in honor of its 30th Anniversary. Named for New Jersey’s scenic Skylands region, the piece opens with a bold fanfare and stately march before developing into a colorful and spirited showcase for the ensemble. A driving Vivace section builds excitement and momentum, leading to a triumphant return of the opening fanfare. Filled with memorable themes, rhythmic vitality, and celebratory character, Skylands Celebration is an excellent choice for festivals, contests, anniversary programs, and concert openers.
