I wrote this piece aiming to embrace aspects of modern music genres such as complex rhythms, richer, more jazz-like harmonies, and a strong sense of energy and passion. The result still feels like a classical work, but certain moments really stretch the boundary between music of the past and popular music of now. One section in the last movement even sounds like heavy metal if played a certain way! Regardless, this piece is filled to the brim with a vibrant cast of characters and styles. I hope you enjoy!
