Swarm

This piece explores some of the contrasting qualities of swarm behavior – viciousness, unpredictability, ambiguity, agitation – exhibited through the medium of a large swarm of string instruments. The size of the ensemble may range from one player per part to a full-sized orchestral string section with a proportional number of players per part.
