Swingdom

Carl Strommen has done it again with another winner!  It's a bright swinger in the Basie/Nestico mold that features tuneful melodies, long lines and rhythmic punch. The brass ranges are very comfortable and the chart has lots of unison and full-ensemble sections. There's a highly effective band break, where the rhythm section drops out, that will bring down the house! Got to have this one!
