Symphony No. 9, Mvt. 2

Composed by Dvorak in 1893, his "Symphony No. 9" is his most popular symphony and one of the most beloved symphonies in the modern orchestra repertoire. The symphony has become popularly known as "The New World Symphony" and was strongly influenced by Dvorak's fascination and true interest in Native American music. The Largo movement (Movement 2) brings with it the simple melody that has become the most memorable of all of Dvorak's works.
