Here's another great chart to add to the growing Pat Metheny Series for jazz bands! It's a down-right funk chart originally recorded on the Metheny Group's album We Live Here. At around 84 bpm, it's set right in the pocket of a medium-slow groove, and features playful ensemble writing with solo space for Alto and Trumpet. This is a great chart to add flavor and diversity to any program. Your audiences will dig it and your jazz band will love playing it!
