The composition THE JOURNEY was written in 2003 for my amazing Madison Middle School Band students, with the purpose of providing the younger players with a song that they could perform at various concerts, and special events. The title was inspired by Proverbs 3:5-6.
It is my hope that THE JOURNEY will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate, and encourage their students.
THE JOURNEY is dedicated to my family, friends, teachers, and the thousands of students who have influenced, inspired, enriched, and blessed my life.
