Those Tender Words

The harmonic language of this composition grew from a mistake in a diction assignment. From that "mistake" grew the idea of an unusual yet intriguing harmonic progression that serves as the basis for this work. Matched with the poem of Rumi, the great Persian mystic, this piece is both magical and mystical and goes to show that all mistakes are not bad!
