Concert pianist Andras Schiff has helped prepare the first of three new and definitive Urtext editions of the Mozart Piano Concertos: K. 453 in G Major; K. 467 in C Major and K. 488 in A Major. This Limited-Edition Anniversary Set contains the three concertos as separately-bound Urtext editions, a booklet featuring an interview with Andras Schiff and a bonus CD recording of his performance of K. 488. This edition marks the beginning of a new effort, in collaboration with Andras Schiff, to publish most of Mozart's 23 piano concertos in new Urtext editions. Schiff has written an amateur-level piano reduction and provided fingerings for all two pianos, four hands versions. He has also provided his own cadenza when Mozart's original is missing.
