Tiny Capers

Here, Clifford Brown's unique composition receives a small group within a big-band treatment, as the A section is presented by trumpet 2, tenor 1, trombone 1, and baritone sax. Each section of the ensemble is also spotlighted in featured or background roles as well as a full-band Baroque-style interlude. There's an open solo section over changes, or for developing improvisers, suggested solos are included. A rousing shout chorus brings it home!
