Mike Carubia has rescored this sensitive Thad Jones jazz ballad in the lower key of C Major for greater accessibility while retaining all the original lines and character. The breathing, phrasing and dynamics have all been thoroughly notated to help students learn control, balance and intonation. There is a short written solo for trombone and a quasi-double-time section after the solo. This is wonderfully beautiful change-of-pace programming! Highly recommended!
