Tom Sawyer

"Tom Sawyer," is a musical adapted from Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." Casting: 7 M (5 don't sing); 1 F; 2 leading teen boys; 3 featured teen girls; 1 featured teen boy; 1 featured boy; Child/Teen/Adult Ensemble. Note: If double roles are used, cast 4 M (2 don't sing).

 

Synopsis: "Tom Sawyer," chronicles the life of an orphan boy growing up in 1840's Missouri along the Mississippi River. Tom learns to deal with young love, responsibility and murder.

 

Orchestration Choices: 1) 10 Instrumental Part Books: REEDS: Bb Clarinet; Bass Clarinet BRASS: Trombone STRINGS: Violin/Fiddle; Cello; Double Bass; Acoustic Guitar; Banjo; TWO PIANO/KEYBOARDS OR 2) Digital Orchestra Performance .mp3 Tracks (we recommend using acoustic instruments instead of the .mp3 tracks if possible). Both choices are included.

Simply email a copy of your JW Pepper receipt to [email protected] and you will sign a contract with TND MUSICALS for your performance dates. All Production Materials - which currently cost $370 - are delivered digitally so you don't have to erase markings and mail the orchestra books back! If you are an accredited School Theatre, there are NO LICENSING FEES. All other theatres will pay a negotiated licensing fee based on your number of performances, ticket prices and seating capacity.
