My inspiration for composing TRIBUTE was to provide a concert band song that could be performed at any occasion that was designed to pay tribute to an individual, or group of people.
It is my hope that TRIBUTE will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate and encourage their students.
TRIBUTE is dedicated to my family, friends, teachers, and the thousands of students who have influenced, inspired, and enriched my life.
