Trilogy for Violin and Piano

Written for a jazz violinist who wanted to do something "sort of classical", but not too "long-hair." All movements are rhythmic, some dissonance, contemporary and dramatic, staging conflict between violin and piano. Mvt. I - 6/4 time with displaced accents, mysterious and intense. Mvt. 2 - dreamy, whole tone, sparse piano with inside piano options. Mvt. 3 - chromatic, agitato, poly-tonal, jazzy and fast! The mp3 is from computer notation and is mvt. 3 only, although the entire piece has been performed many times.
