Two Down Territory

A raucous 12-bar blues in the key of B-flat with opportunities for everyone to solo. Background riffs are provided for each section, and the band is encouraged to come up with their own. After the melody is stated, the sax section gets two choruses of section soli work. The shout section features the foundational concept of call and response between each section before coming together in a full tutti chorus, then a quick outro concludes the piece. Solo changes are provided in all parts, and piano and bass parts are written out. Trumpet range is to written G; trombone range is to F.
