Younger than Springtime

Lennie Niehaus wrote a series of terrific arrangements for the Stan Kenton Orchestra. As recorded on "The Stage Door Swings" CD, this chart is a medium-swing version of a great Richard Rodgers tune. It features solo space for trumpet. The ranges are quite moderate for a Kenton chart with a couple high E's for trumpet 1.  This chart swings like mad and your band will surely love playing it. 5-5-5-3
