Included are sections devoted specifically to chord strumming, blues structure and style, fingerstyle technique, note reading, and music theory. Lyrics for many songs, as well as duet arrangements, are included. Volume 2 focuses on melodic development and solo playing and provides a vast collection of solos, duets and quartets in multiple styles including rock, blues, classical, gospel, and folk, using flatpick and fingerstyle technique. Both books are written in standard notation and tablature with chords presented in both diagram and photo format.
