This recently composed hymn tune, GAUDETE, features four unison verses balanced by a choral refrain. Each receives an a cappella imitative treatment. The text describes the excitement for the coming of the Lord. An optional final ending is also included. Scored parts for guitar, flute, and oboe are included.
