Publisher Desc.  February 2021 marked a dangerous cold weather event the crippled most of Texas. Many people were affected by the winter weather. This song is dedicated to the people who passed away, the volunteers who helped people get back on their feet, and to the electrical workers who worked tirelessly to restore our power. This song is set in 4/4 time signature and Concert B flat key. The ranges are accessible to young bands (7th and 8th graders). I have written in many opportunities for dynamic shaping, phrasing and articulations. This piece of music has several tempo changes for you and your students to adhere too.
