Bright Samba. Joyful, challenging, fun chart. This is the second of two great arrangements done by Michael Abene for the Netherlands Metropole Orchestra's recording featuring Tim Armacost's compositions. It is a bright, happy song, and is orchestrated as a feature for Tenor 1. There is a separate Tenor 1 part, and a Solo Tenor part, so that the chart can be played by the Tenor 1 player as soloist, or with a separate Tenor Sax soloist. Can be played by high school ensembles with reasonably skilled reed doublers, and is appropriate for college jazz groups. Doubles: Alto 1 - Flute; Alto 2 - Soprano Sax; Tenor 2 - Flute.
