Publisher Desc.  Gabriel's Message is a Basque folk carol, based on a 13th or 14th Century Latin carol whose text tells the story of the Annunciation. Numerous contemporary artists such as Sting and Madonna have adapted the tune. This brass arrangement in B minor alternates between 9/8 and 12/8 time and features arching melody lines punctuated by melismatic trumpet obligatos.
