This setting of the Agnus Dei text is composed in three sections- all fashioned from the tune CHRISTE, DU LAMM GOTTES. The work begins with an ornate melody with lush harmonies. As each verse continues, the melody becomes less ornate - ending with an emotional "grant us peace" and a series of exquisite "amens."
