This tune from "The Fairy Queen Suite, No. 2" is delightful with its emphasis on a light marcato stroke that flows easily and naturally at an allegretto tempo.  The key of G major in both the 6/8 and 2/4 sections fits naturally under the fingers for young string students.  The bass part has been simplified in a few places to more accurately match the technical abilities of young bassists.  These elements combine to make this an accessible arrangement for your orchestra.
