Notre Dame Triptych
This three-movement work portrays some of the things that have made Notre Dame one of the most famous cathedrals in the world. The first movement, Flying Buttresses, is very triumphant sounding, representing the impressive structures that reinforce the building. Movement two, Quasimodo, is energetic, yet mysterious at the same time, depicting the legendary "Hunchback of Notre Dame." The piece concludes with the joyous Carillon, which is the famed bell tower of the cathedral. A glorious work for an equally glorious church!
