Publisher Desc.  Notturno is a tone poem for flute and piano trio. It has optional solo parts for oboe and alto saxophone. It suits all three solo instruments equally well and takes advantage of the full range. This work has lyrical phrases as well as challenging technical passages. The string parts have phrase markings included, but not bow direction markings. I have left this task up to the individual performers. Good solo piece for an audition or recital.
