Publisher Desc.  This lovely 5 and a half minute work is perfect for a concert opener. It was written for a high school concert band with a smaller number of players and works well in a large band as well. The slow opening with a lovely melody speeds up into a number of variations on the theme which lead to the rousing finish. The work was composed in 2004 for the Souhegan High School (Amherst, NH) band and their director Carl Benevides.aa The piece works well with high school, collegiate and community bands. The set contains a large conductor score, a letter size study score and all parts.
