Publisher Desc.  A three-movement work for B-flat Trumpet and Piano that is challenging for both performers. Composed in 1993 for trumpeter Tijuana Julian, it is her performance with pianist Jo Ruff that is excerpted here. The second movement makes use of sympathetic vibrations as the trumpet plays into the piano to vibrate the strings. The third movement is a technical tour-de-force.
