A cappella Publisher Desc.  Sara Teasdale's "The Fountain" is full of symbolism. The fountain itself represents life and truth; satyrs, worldly knowledge; the moon, enlightenment; white peacocks, purity; and dew, blessings. This SATB a cappella setting would be at home in either sacred or secular concerts.
