Publisher Desc.  "The Old Timer" is written in the style of a sax section in a jazz big band. The articulations and dynamics are to be strictly adhered to and will give a small but useful insight into jazz articulation as well as common dynamic effects. The bass clarinet and clarinet 4 parts can be substituted for one another depending on what players are available.
