Three Kings Mambo

(Tres Reyes Mambo)
John H. Hoklins, Jr. /arr. Michael E. Ekbladh - The Music of Michael E. Ekbladh
Publisher Desc.  A fun and exciting setting of the tradition text and tune by John H. Hoklins, Jr. takes the musicians and audience on a journey to the Caribbean island of Cuba. Cuban dancers would describe mambo as "feeling the music", in which sound and movement were merged through the body. After a months-long journey on camels, I am sure the Magi were quite aware of the feeling in their body. Inspired by the music of Cuba, this arrangement is dedicated to the Methodist Church in La Moza, Cuba whose passion and faith endure. Full Score and parts (MEE06292917-FS) sold separately.
