Two Benedictions
Publisher Desc.
The first of the two benedictions is a setting of the closing choral "benediction" in Theodore Dubois' Seven Last Words. The Christ, We Do All Adore Thee has only one handbell change, nothing less in value than eighth notes, all straight ringing. The second of the two benedictions, Lord, Dismiss Us with Your Blessing, is an 18th century Sicilian melody. It uses a few stopped techniques and also has very few handbell changes. The two numbers are contrasting in style and are both very useable in any worship setting.
