Both of these works have their roots in the rich tradition of English folk song.  The Greens Bushes tells the story of a lover who has lost his lass to someone else.  Legato bowing,  harmonics and gentle pizzicato notes help to create this wistful sentiment.  On the other hand, the bold and robust nature of The Wraggle Taggle Gypsies describes the free spirit of a wandering group of nomads and their hilarious exploits.
