This arrangement by Oliver Nelson is a gorgeous alto saxophone solo feature of Cole Porter's ballad I Worship You. The alto soloist can either perform the completely written solo part as originally played and recorded by Cannonball Adderley on his album "Domination," or can choose to read the basic melody and improvise around it. Both solo versions are included. There is also short solo space for piano. Clarinet doubles are required, but the ensemble writing is very playable. This is a great alto saxophone solo feature on a beautiful melody!
