Originally recorded by the Count Basie Orchestra and played by them at a Grammy Awards concert, this arrangement was also featured by the SWR Big Band on their CD "Basie-cally Sammy." It has optional solos for all, features trombone and alto sax solos, and includes some quieter ensemble choruses for good measure. Four of five trumpet parts call for flugelhorn doubles and alto saxes have optional flute doubles.
