Publisher Desc.  May the Sun Shine on Me is a song of longing for the Promised Land and a prayer to go there again one day. The speaker in the song uses the sun as a metaphor and prays that it may light her way to the Promised Land. This arrangement is for string orchestra with the addition of piano and percussion (drum set). It will work even with an incomplete string ensemble (i.e. few or no violas/bass) thanks to the supporting piano part.
