In Jamey's play along volume 2 Nothin' But Blues, this is titled Long-Meter Jazz Rock. It has been transformed here as an exciting performance piece at an accessible grade level and offers an opportunity for young improvisors to practice the solos with the Aebersold CD. This jazz/rock style composition keeps the same form and chord structure as the play along. An excellent teaching and performance vehicle, it has standard jazz band instrumentation, but is playable with a minimum of 3 saxes (AAT), 3 trumpets, 2 trombones, piano, bass and drums. A great little chart at the easy grade level!
