Publisher Desc.  The Ghosts of Cahill Mansion is based on an actual haunted house located in Gulfport, Mississippi that mysteriously burned down in 1971. The piece starts with a mysterious opening leading into a percussion solo which takes us to our first encounter with the spirits. Driving accents in the opening theme lead us to a haunting clarinet melody. Another short percussion break leads the band back to the opening statement and then to the low brass melody. The tune grows to an exciting conclusion as the spirits reappear and we leave the premises. A great piece for your young developing band.
