Trois Pieces
Publisher Desc.
Composed in Budapest in 2008, these three pieces for flute and piano invite the listener to dream in three different atmospheres. The Romance is a long melodic piece, a nostalgic description of an idyll of yesteryear. The Intermezzo, more difficult due to its tempo, is a scherzo describing a kind of whirlwind in the autumn air. The third piece, Sur la Lac, has proven to be the most popular work of the set. Very quiet, with a slow rocking motion, and written in a very French style, it describes the calm of a lake, and the invitation to rest.
